Today marks the 25th anniversary of MCS Coca-Cola LLC, the first Mongolian national company to join the Coca-Cola family under the slogan “Bringing the World’s Brand to Mongolia.”

Founded with ambition and the determination to build something meaningful, the company has spent the past 25 years successfully introducing international standards to Mongolia while elevating the country’s beverage manufacturing, marketing, and management practices. Today, MCS Coca-Cola has grown into the Coca-Cola family’s representative in Mongolia, serving 16,000 customers nationwide with a team of more than 1,200 employees.

How Did Coca-Cola Come to Mongolia?

When MCS Group obtained the Coca-Cola franchise rights in 2001, it opened the door for Mongolia to become part of the global marketplace and learn from international best practices. The company’s first production facility began operations in 2002, bringing the first locally produced bottled Coca-Cola beverages to Mongolian consumers.

Today, MCS Coca-Cola operates in accordance with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 international standards, producing and distributing more than 20 brands, including Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Bonaqua, Fuze Tea, Minute Maid, and Schweppes.

Bringing International Best Practices to Mongolia

MCS Coca-Cola has continuously led the industry by localizing global best practices in marketing, sales, and distribution. One of the company’s key initiatives has been implementing Coca-Cola’s RED (Right Execution Daily) system, introducing standardized practices such as advance customer ordering, cooler placement, shelf merchandising, and execution standards across the market.

The company also successfully established a nationwide direct distribution system, delivering products directly from the factory to consumers throughout Mongolia.

In addition, MCS Coca-Cola has introduced numerous large-scale marketing initiatives to the Mongolian market, including the iCoke consumer rewards program, the Happiness Center for young people, the Coke’n Beat music festival, and more than 150 integrated marketing campaigns.

25 Years of Growing Together with Sports

Globally, the Coca-Cola brand has long been associated with major sporting events, and this tradition has continued in Mongolia. Since 2002, MCS Coca-Cola has consistently supported 3×3 basketball and the Sprite League.

In 2008, the company was recognized by the Mongolian National Olympic Committee (MNOC) as an “Organization Supporting Olympism” for its contribution to the Olympic movement. In 2018, MCS Coca-Cola organized Mongolia’s first-ever FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, one of the country’s landmark sporting events. Most recently, in 2026, the company signed a TOP Olympic Partner agreement with the MNOC, establishing a two-year partnership in support of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

Did You Know You Can Visit the Factory?

MCS Coca-Cola began offering factory tours in 2005, and since then, more than 60,000 visitors have experienced the company’s production operations firsthand.

Today, interested citizens, students, and organizational representatives can join weekly factory tours to see how beverages are produced and learn how the company ensures product quality and food safety.

A Leader in Sustainable Development

Over the past 25 years, MCS Coca-Cola has continuously expanded its production capacity while introducing environmentally friendly technologies.

Contributing to Mongolia’s Economy

Since its establishment, MCS Coca-Cola has consistently been one of Mongolia’s major taxpayers. Over the past five years, the company has contributed MNT 369.4 billion in taxes and made MNT 970 billion in domestic procurement, creating tangible value for Mongolia’s economy, infrastructure, and social development. In recognition of these contributions, MCS Coca-Cola has been included among Mongolia’s Top 100 Enterprises every year since 2015.

As the company celebrates this important 25-year milestone, MCS Coca-Cola remains committed to building on its achievements by continuing to drive responsible manufacturing, sustainable development, and innovation-led growth.
